Ukrainian Egg Classes Were Offered During Lent, 2010

During the six weeks of Lent Ukrainian Egg Classes were offered each Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  Those who have come in the past will tell you that great artistic skill as not necessary to enjoy these fun evenings.

We had a large crowd each week with many new people joining the class this year.

Even though six classes are offered, you were not obligated to come to all.  You could come to as many or as few as your schedule would allow.

There is no age limit either way, although we do ask that smaller children are accompanied with a parent as candles and hot wax are used in the process of decorating the eggs.

For each class we were asked to bring 2 raw eggs at room temperature in an egg carton and $1.00 to cover the cost of supplies.

Bonnie Massing taught the classes and walked us all, new and returning students, through the process.

These classes are offered each year in Lent and we would love to have you join us next year.
