Ukrainian Egg Decorating classes are offered during Lent. A pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter
egg, decorated using a wax-resist (batik) method. The word comes from the verb pysaty,
"to write", as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax. Beginners and those who have come in the past
are all welcome. You need 2
raw eggs and one dollar to cover cost of supplies. A display holder is one
dollar if you wish to display your finished egg. Bring your eggs in an egg carton.
